This Sri Lanka tour package moves through several parts of the island in just five days, beginning with Kandy’s cultural sights before heading into the cooler hill country around Nuwara Eliya and then continuing towards Bentota and the southern coast. Expect plenty of road travel, with new scenery along the way as the landscape changes from city and hills to tea country and coastal areas.
The itinerary mixes planned sightseeing with optional experiences. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, the Temple of the Tooth, Hakgala Botanical Garden, Gregory Lake Park, white-water rafting, turtle hatchery visits and the Madhu River boat safari are not part of the fixed sightseeing programme and can be added at an extra cost.
