Begin in Stockholm with a visit to the Vasa Museum before travelling by train to Oslo. Explore Oslo’s museums on a shared city tour, including the Fram Museum and Norwegian Folk Museum, before continuing towards Bergen on the Norway in a Nutshell route through Myrdal, Flåm, Gudvangen and Voss.

What to Expect on the Scandinavia Tour Package 9N/10D

This Scandinavia tour package takes you from the elegant streets of Stockholm and Oslo to Bergen’s fjords and Tromsø’s Arctic landscapes. With several changes of destination along the way, the trip has a varied pace, moving from city sightseeing to scenic rail travel and outdoor experiences.

One of the standout parts is the Norway in a Nutshell journey from Oslo to Bergen, passing through Myrdal, Flåm, Gudvangen and Voss. After Bergen, the itinerary heads north to Tromsø, where the focus shifts to Northern Lights experiences, reindeer feeding, Sami culture and the landscapes around Sommarøy.

A few activities, including the Oslo and Bergen sightseeing tours and the Tromsø excursions, are shared and follow fixed timings. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not provided for these tours. The Bergen to Tromsø flight is also not included and needs to be arranged separately.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Stockholm

Arrive at Stockholm Airport and meet your private transfer to the hotel. Check in and settle into your accommodation.

The rest of the day is free for you to relax after your arrival.

Overnight: Stockholm

Day 2: Stockholm & Vasa Museum

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel before exploring Stockholm. The package includes a 2-hour guided walking tour of Stockholm along with entrance to the Vasa Museum.

The museum is the main scheduled attraction for the day, leaving time to explore the city at your own pace around the included sightseeing.

Overnight: Stockholm

Day 3: Stockholm to Oslo by Train

After breakfast, transfer by private car from your Stockholm hotel to the train station.

Board your 2nd class train from Stockholm to Oslo, scheduled from 15:27 to 21:23 with no change. On arrival, a private transfer will take you from Oslo railway station to your hotel.

Overnight: Oslo

Day 4: Oslo City & Museums Tour

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before joining the Oslo City & Museums Tour on a shared basis. The tour lasts approximately 5.5 hours and starts at 10:00 AM. Meals are not included during the tour.

The day includes visits to the Fram Museum and Norwegian Folk Museum, giving you the opportunity to explore two of Oslo’s museums as part of the sightseeing programme.

Day 5: Norway in a Nutshell to Bergen

After breakfast, take a private transfer from your Oslo hotel to the train station and begin your Norway in a Nutshell journey to Bergen. The route takes you through Myrdal, Flåm, Gudvangen and Voss before reaching Bergen.

Porter service for 1 bag per person from Oslo to Bergen is included, while porter service at Flåm is not included. On arrival in Bergen, a private transfer will take you from the train station to your hotel.

Day 6: Bergen Walking Tour & Fløibanen

After breakfast, join a 2-hour Bergen City Guided Walking Tour on a shared basis, starting at 10:00 AM. The tour offers a chance to explore Bergen on foot as part of the day’s scheduled sightseeing.

The Fløibanen Funicular Ride ticket is also included, adding another way to experience the city and its surroundings.

Day 7: Bergen to Tromsø & Northern Lights Safari

After breakfast, check out and take a private transfer from your Bergen hotel to the airport. The Bergen to Tromsø flight is not included and needs to be arranged separately.

On arrival in Tromsø, a private transfer will take you from the airport to your hotel. In the evening, head out on a 6-hour Northern Lights Safari on a shared basis, starting at approximately 6:30 PM.

Overnight: Tromsø

Day 8: Reindeer, Sami Culture & Northern Lights Chase

Begin the day with breakfast before joining the Reindeer Feeding & Sami Culture Tour on a shared basis. The experience lasts approximately 3.5 hours and starts at 10:15 AM.

Later in the evening, set out for a 5-hour Northern Lights Chase, also arranged on a shared basis, starting at approximately 7:30 PM.

Day 9: Fjords & Sommarøy Island

After breakfast, join the Fjords and Sommarøy Island Tour from Tromsø on a shared basis. The approximately 4-hour tour starts at 11:00 AM and includes a salmon picnic.

After the excursion, return to Tromsø and spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 10: Depart from Tromsø

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out.

Your private transfer will take you from the Tromsø hotel to the airport for your onward journey.
